Jade Maiden Waterfall

The Baoquan area is part of the Yu River system. According to the ancient text Classic of Mountains and Seas, the Yu River is a source of pure water and the origin of the legends surrounding the Jade River, Jade Lake, Jade Stream, and Jade Mother. The Jade Maidens, attendants of the Jade Mother, are said to have bathed and played here. Strikingly, the shape of the Jade Maiden Waterfall resembles a maiden emerging from the water, standing gracefully in the turquoise pool, her beauty awe-inspiring and otherworldly.
