Pavilion of Remembrance

The Pavilion of Remembrance carries with it a legendary story. After a meeting between the Queen Mother of the West and King Mu of Zhou, she led her attendants to admire the mountain and water scenery. Discovering that this spot mirrored the mountains and waters of the Kunlun Hills in the west, she was reminded of her homeland and gazed longingly back. In memory of her journey to the Central Plains, this pavilion was built to honor the Queen Mother of the West and her nostalgic reflection.
