Lover's Cave

This cave in front of us has a remarkable history. There are metamorphic rocks formed 2.5 billion years ago. It contains metamorphic rocks that formed 2.5 billion years ago, which are the oldest rocks in Henan Province, with an age of over 2.5 billion years. Under the conditions of metamorphism, the pre-existing rocks (igneous rocks, sedimentary rocks, and previously formed metamorphic rocks) transform into rocks with new mineral assemblages and metamorphic structures and textures. This process takes place under conditions of increased temperature and pressure. The material composition of the metamorphic rock includes both the original rock composition and the newly generated components during the metamorphic process. Flaky and gneissic are its typical structural characteristics. It is also the raw material for many commonly used substances, such as white marble, marble, jadeite, graphite, asbestos, etc. Studying metamorphic rocks not only allows us to understand the early history of the earth, but also to learn about related mineral resources. It also has a very charming name called Lover's Cave. It is said that couples and spouses who pass through here will have the everlasting love.
